NORWALK, CT — It may be the week before Halloween, but the city already has winter on its mind.

Ahead of any potential snow, the Department of Public Works is holding a naming contest for Norwalk's 26 snowplows.

According to the city's Facebook page, residents can participate by voting for their favorite name for the first 13 of the city's snowplow routes at this link. Three name options are provided for each route.

The contest will run through Nov. 18. Options range from clever names like "Plow Bunyan," "Luke Snowwalker" and "Say It Ain't Snow."
