Driver Strikes 5 Vehicles In Norwalk Car Wash Parking Lot, 3 Hospitalized: UPDATE
Police said three people were taken to a hospital after a driver struck five vehicles in the parking lot of a Norwalk car wash.

NORWALK, CT — Three people were taken to a hospital after a driver struck five vehicles in the parking lot of a Norwalk car wash Monday morning, according to an update from police
In a news release, Police Lt. Tomasz Podgorski said the department received several reports around 10 a.m. of a multi-vehicle crash on Main Avenue.
When city police, fire and emergency medical services officers arrived in the area, they found several vehicles had been damaged in the parking lot of Russell Speeder's Car Wash, according to Podgorski.

Two people were taken to Norwalk Hospital due to injuries sustained in the crash, Podgorski said.
After further investigation, police determined the crash to be accidental and the driver, who struck five vehicles in total, was also taken to Norwalk Hospital, according to Podgorski.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and ask anyone with information to contact Officer Chris Wasilewski by phone at 203-854-3035 or via email at Cwasilewski@norwalkct.gov.
Police said on X, formerly Twitter, around 11 a.m. the southbound travel portion of Main Avenue was down to one lane as officers in the area investigated a crash with injuries involving several vehicles.
Shortly after, Police Sgt. Ryan Evarts confirmed in an email to Patch officers were called to the area around 10 a.m. after receiving reports of a crash with injuries involving several vehicles.
Evarts said the accident was under investigation and additional information would be provided when it became available.
