As the pictures make clear (picture 1 BEFORE, picture 2 AFTER), the Oak Hills Park Authority in its take no prisoners attempt to prepare the grounds for a driving range, is beginning to turn what was once an aesthetically appealing landscape into an ugly wasteland. And it is doing so with millions of our taxpayer dollars in loans and grants from taxpayers. Soon, if the Authority gets its way more trees will be taken down and rock ledge will be blasted to make room for a driving range the Authority is billing as a Golf Learning Center. At that point the park will have lost its cachet for anyone but driving range fanatics.
