Date Announced for Norwalk's Annual Mayor's Ball
The ball is a charitable event to support the work of Norwalk-based non-profits each year, says Mayor Harry Rilling.

NORWALK, CT — The 2017 Mayor's Ball, a charitable event to support the work of Norwalk-based non-profits, will be held on January 27 at the Italian Center in Stamford, Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling announced.
Traditionally, the ball is held at the Continental Manor in Norwalk, but since the facility is closed for renovations, the Italian Center was selected.
"We found that the Italian Center in Stamford will enable us to meet all three critical objectives - continuing to accommodate 500 guests, keeping your ticket prices as reasonable as possible, and maintaining the Ball’s charitable purpose; giving significant funding to the good work of Norwalk’s non-profit organizations," wrote Rilling in a letter to residents announcing the 2017 event. "This year’s location also offers sufficient parking, easy access and good space, and is well-known among Norwalkers."
