Details Announced For Norwalk City Hall Tree Lighting Celebration

In addition to the tree lighting ceremony, the free event will also feature musical performances, a visit from Santa Claus, snacks and more.

NORWALK, CT — The city's annual City Hall tree lighting celebration will take place Friday, featuring live music, a visit from Santa Claus and other festive activities.

According to a news release provided by the city, the family-friendly celebration will take place on the front lawn of City Hall, located at 125 East Avenue, from 5:45 p.m. to 7 p.m.

In addition to the tree lighting ceremony, the free event will include a visit from Santa and a Christmas tree raffle, as well as holiday snacks and drinks for attendees to enjoy.

The event will also include musical performances by DJ Jimmy Nuzzo and Dance to the Music, the Norwalk High School Chamber Singers, the Brien McMahon High School Choir, the Norwalk Girl Scouts, the Crystal Theatre and the Norwalk Community Chorale.

This year's sponsors include Snow Princesses, Ripka's, Donut Delight, Home Depot, Angela Mia and Speedy Donuts. City officials also thanked the Exchange Club and Nuzzo for volunteering at this event.
