About New England Fashion+Design Association (NEF+DA)
New England Fashion + Design Association (NEF+DA) was born from the need to introduce Fashion Design classes to all ages, not just as basic sewing classes, but as professional training that will prepare students to achieve their dreams of becoming an integral part of the Fashion Industry.
We are here to inspire and help realize our students' fashion design dreams and teach them how to dig deeper and discover their own talents through illustration, pattern making and sewing - we create their future together. Our students (teens and adults) achieve a very high fashion skill set proven by their acceptance into Ivy League Universities in the programs of Fashion Design or Stage Design.
Our students attending our Fashion Design Incubator classes have sold their collections on the Home Shopping network and have opened their very own fashion design or stylist businesses. Our in-house team is built by world-class college professors recruited from the best fashion schools in the NY metro and San Francisco areas.
Fashion is ever changing and our programs are no exception. Here, we grow our courses organically based on the changing trends in the fashion industry and technological progress.
As part of our activities and services, we organize fashion shows featuring our students’ clothing designs and artwork in special events and galleries. We help parents recognize their child's talents at an early age and we work tirelessly to build their skills and self- esteem to help them progress to the next level of their creativity.
