About New Counseling Service makes Individualized Wellness Solutions for Family Caregivers more accessible

Stable Ground Counseling LLC announces a new approach to wellness counseling, specifically designed for caregivers such as parents, caretakers of elderly or disabled family members, and healthcare professionals. The Norwalk based counseling service is dedicated to provide “support for the support system.” Stable Ground Counseling LLC provides highly individualized home-based counseling services, taking into account that most caregivers often don’t have the time to visit a counselor or coach at their office location. Counseling can be provided on a flexible schedule throughout Fairfield County CT. Stable Ground Counseling LLC’s manager Sabrina Donalies-Schell, MHC is a master's level Mental Health Counselor as well as a certified Life Coach and certified Medical Technician. She has over a decade of professional and personal experience with holistic health approaches for all ages. “Caregivers often focus their entire energy on their loved ones, which is incredible and deserves so much respect. Unfortunately this job is often completely underestimated and caregivers exhaust their resources without looking after their own wellbeing. At Stable Ground Counseling LLC, we are devoted to the health and wellness of caregivers. Empowering them with self-care, mindfulness and resilience tools, as well as skill coaching, we aim to help the entire family system.” Donalies-Schell says. In addition to the home-based counseling services, Stable Ground Counseling LLC provides Equine Assisted Learning workshops to complement their clients’ personal development. Humans and horses have a long history of mutual dependence. The horses’ natural instincts as prey and herd animals let them accurately read our emotions. Their way of reacting to our energy, heart rate and body language is always immediate, honest, and entirely non-judgmental. Clients work individually or in small groups to develop problem solving approaches. Sessions do not involve riding, and no previous horse experience needed.
