New Haven Center for Performing Arts Announces Wall Street Theater Rebrand to District Music Hall
Norwalk, CT – New Haven Center for Performing Arts Inc., which recently acquired the theater at 71 Wall Street in Norwalk, has proudly announced its refurbishment, transformation, and re-branding as DISTRICT MUSIC HALL.

As a cherished venue with rich history, DISTRICT MUSIC HALL has been a cornerstone of the local arts scene in Norwalk for over 100 years. Originally known as The Regent, as well as, respectively, The Norwalk, The Roxy, The Globe, Wall Street Theater, DISTRICT MUSIC HALL continues to build on its rich history, while introducing a fresh identity that resonates with the vibrant cultural scene of Norwalk. The name change represents a renewed focus on music and entertainment, emphasizing a wide range of genres and performances to cater to diverse tastes of the local community.
Seasoned music fans and newcomers seeking a dynamic and inclusive concert space will relish the recent concert audio and lightning system upgrades and overall refresh. Now two months under new direction, DISTRICT MUSIC HALL is ramping up concerts, comedy, and private events.
