Power Restored After District-Wide Outage In East Norwalk: UPDATE

A TTD commissioner confirmed all power had been restored following a district-wide outage in the East Norwalk area of the city.

Update: TTD Commissioner Pamela Parkington announced in an updated Facebook post around 10:30 a.m. "all power has been restored in [the] district. Thank you for your patience!"


NORWALK, CT — A district-wide power outage was reported Thursday morning throughout East Norwalk, according to the Third Taxing District.

Pamela Parkington, a commissioner for the TTD electric department, said on Facebook around 9:30 a.m. a power outage had been reported "in the entire district."

Parkington said crews were currently working to address the issue and that residents should have their power back on "in approximately 30 minutes."

The commissioner also thanked East Norwalk residents for their patience.
