Drive-By Shooting Damages 3 Vehicles In Norwalk: Police

No injuries were reported in the Saturday afternoon shooting.

NORWALK, CT — Three parked vehicles were damaged by gunfire Saturday when gunmen opened fire on a crowd of people in the Colonial Village housing complex on Suncrest Road in Norwalk, according to police.

No injuries were reported in the 4:45 p.m. shooting.

"The initial investigation revealed that a group of individuals fired shots from a white sedan at a group standing in the complex and fled the scene," said Lt. Jared Zwickler in a statement.

Norwalk police detectives are investigating shooting, and they are collaborating with other law enforcement agencies on the case. Darien police separately are investigating a Saturday afternoon drive-by shooting that occurred just before 5 p.m. on West Avenue in Darien, according to authorities.
