Driver Charged In Fatal Norwalk Crash: Police
Police said a man was charged in connection to a November crash in Norwalk that left a 19-year-old man dead.

NORWALK, CT — A Stamford man was arrested Wednesday in connection to a crash last month in Norwalk that left a 19-year-old Norwalk man dead, according to police.
In a news release, police said Erles Ismael Aguilera, 25, of Stamford, was charged with first-degree manslaughter, second-degree assault with a motor vehicle, reckless driving and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.
The crash was reported Nov. 27 on Dr. Martin Luther King Drive, just south of Lowe Street, around 8 a.m., police said.

Norwalk police, firefighters and EMS were immediately called to the area, where they found a single-vehicle accident with four people injured.
Aguilera, who police identified as the driver, and two passengers were taken to Norwalk Hospital. A third passenger, 19-year-old Oscar Valdovinos of Norwalk, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

After further investigation that included interviews, collection of evidence and search warrants, police issued an arrest warrant for Aguilera. His bond was set at $750,000, police said.
