Driver Charged In Vehicular Manslaughter Of Norwalk Woman: Report
Police said a Stamford man has been charged in the vehicular manslaughter of a Norwalk woman.

STAMFORD, CT — Police said a Stamford man has been charged in the vehicular manslaughter of a 44-year-old Norwalk woman, as reported by the Norwalk Hour. The accused was picked up by police Monday after he was found to be wanted on a warrant for a fatal accident that occurred Aug. 26 on Interstate-95, police said.
According to the Hour, police said the vehicle Ever Orlando-Reyes, 35, was driving pulled off the highway and onto across a grassy area before hitting a rock face and flipping over twice. Police said Maria Abarca-Banos of Norwalk was also found at the scene and died about 90 minutes later at Stamford Hospital.
Police said the accused was subsequently found to have a blood alcohol content more than twice the legal limit, according to the Hour. He was scheduled for arraignment Wednesday in Stamford.
