Drunk Norwalk Woman Busted After Driving Wrong Way: Greenwich PD
The incident occurred after midnight on Saturday in Greenwich.

GREENWICH, CT — A 34-year-old Norwalk woman was arrested on drunk driving and other charges Saturday after police saw her driving in the wrong direction on East Putnam Avenue in Greenwich, according to authorities.
Maria Morales-Gramajo, of Strawberry Hill Avenue, was pulled over in her Ford Windstar just after midnight on Sheephill Road, wrote Greenwich police in a statement.
"The operator, Maria Morales-Gramajo of Norwalk, was observed to have glassy, red eyes and Officers detected the odor associated with the consumption of alcoholic beverages emanating from her person and breath," stated police, adding that she failed Standardized Field Sobriety Tests at the scene.

In addition to alleged drunk driving, Morales-Gramajo, who was arrested on similar charges in New Canaan in June, was additionally charged with illegally operating a vehicle while under suspension, and failure to drive in the proper lane.
Morales-Gramajo was held in lieu of a $250 bond and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Oct. 22.
