Enroll In a Day Festivities at Norwalk Community College

(NORWALK, CT) - Norwalk Community College (NCC) hosts its final Enroll in a Day event on Saturday, August 21 before the fall semester begins on August 26. The event takes place in-person from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

The events at 188 Richards Avenue are aimed to streamline the registration process and enjoy on-campus festivities. WEBE 108 will be on-site broadcasting live.

Students can apply, obtain advising, participate in financial aid workshops, arrange payment plans, and more. Both in-person and virtual advisement appointments will be available. Students must register for advisement appointments at www.norwalk.edu/records/virtual-registration-appointments/. New students must bring their high school transcript, SAT scores, and proof of immunization records.

In addition to enrollment assistance, NCC will hold a free COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. in the West Campus Front Lot. The clinic is open to the public with no appointment necessary.

The Connecticut Board of Regents for Higher Education (BOR) recently has set forth new COVID-19 vaccination requirements for students returning to campus this fall semester. Please review the requirements at https://www.ct.edu/covid19#faqs.

After more than a year when many have had put their educations on hold, NCC offers generous incentives to students of all ages. The college hosts nearly 1,000 credit and non-credit courses, which are offered in pursuit of a degree or certificate. Its academic programs prepare students for ready transfer to baccalaureate institutions, and NCC’s Lifetime Learners Institute is one of the largest groups of active seniors in retirement in the United States.
