Ersin Dinar

Ersin Dinar, 75 a former resident of Norwalk, CT passed away suddenly in Wilmington, NC on Friday, September 21, 2018. He was born on July 31, 1943 in Istanbul, Turkey, son of the late Atif and Jale Dinar.

Ersin received his engineering degree from the University of Toronto and worked for 35 years at Chemtex International in New York, NY and in Wilmington, NC. During his career, he travelled the world designing and building textile factories. Ersin was a very honest and independent man who was loving and generous to those close in his life. He was a very loving and caring husband to his late wife Liliana Dinar and to his son Omar Dinar. He enjoyed travelling, reading, listening to classical music, and spending time with his family.

Ersin is survived by his son Omar Dinar and his wife Melissa of Fairfield, CT, and by his brother Yavuz Dinar of Istanbul, Turkey.

Family and friends may call at Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street, in Historic Norwalk, CT on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 10am. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, 81 Riverside Avenue Norwalk, CT. A short reception will follow at the home of Omar and Melissa Dinar in Fairfield, CT.
