DrawOn! at the Center for Contemporary Printmaking

DrawOn! at CCP takes place on Thursday, April 5, from 10 am to 4 pm   |  There is no charge for the Draw On! activity at CCP  |   Make a sketch, print a sketch  |  No need to sign up, no need to stay all day  |  Just come on in and join the fun!

No inks, no brayers...just draw and print

Bring your creative mind to this CCP studio event and delve into a unique technique used to make a monotype from a pencil or crayon drawing done on a printing plate (matrix). Sketch a still life, or an event from memory onto a specially prepared matrix with a special pencil or crayon. CCP staff is available to describe the technique and help print your work. Materials are provided.

Each year, the Aldrich Museum presents DrawOn! a two-week program structured "….to encourage an entire community of people and organizations, schools, artists, etc. to celebrate drawing and the potential of drawing to encourage learning, communication, and understanding."

The Center for Contemporary Printmaking is located in Mathews Park, 299 West Avenue, Norwalk CT
