“Music for Your Heart and Your Soul,” presented by the Westport Community Band led by Sal Larusso, will feature the Good News Gospel Choir, under the direction of Chris Coogan. The performance will take place Sunday, April 29, at 4 p.m., at Saugatuck Elementary School, 170 Riverside Ave., Westport.
The program will feature concert band and choral sections as well as show tunes, marches, pop and gospel. Admission is free with a suggested donation.
The Westport Community Band is comprised of 60 adult musicians and is celebrating its 35th year this season.

The Good News Gospel Choir is a 50-voice, multi-denominational singing group founded by Chris Coogan that performs nearly every weekend at churches, festivals, fundraisers and various community events throughout the state of Connecticut.
