The 2nd Annual Roots, Rock & Reggae Festival will be held on Sunday June 10th from Noon to 7PM at Rory’s Restaurant at 416 Post Road in Darien. This outdoor festival will have live music of all genres and feature local bands such as: I Anabass, Pasofino Social Club, Anthem, Finger Sleeve, and Dr. B and the Brotherhood. Admission is just $10 or $25 with event t-shirt. The event will take place rain or shine. A fun Jamaican menu including Caribbean lobster and drinks (rum punch, Red Stripe beer) will be specially priced.
Proceeds will benefit “Click It for Cassie” which is a charity started by Tom and Anne Geary, previous owners of Rory’s to promote seat belt awareness to save lives of children and adults alike. The event also benefits the Open Door Shelter in Norwalk.
