With a career rooted in product development, global sourcing, and merchandising, Daniel has built a reputation for curating distinctive collections that combine tradition, craftsmanship, and modern design. Before establishing DS RUGS, Daniel directed the rug division at Lillian August Designs in Norwalk and New York, where he expanded curated offerings and developed strong partnerships with designers and clients. His deep knowledge of the rug market, eye for detail, and dedication to service continue to guide his work today. At DS RUGS, Daniel focuses on sourcing unique pieces from around the world, developing exclusive collections, and creating tailored solutions for interior designers and private clients. His passion lies in helping each project find the perfect rug—one that elevates spaces through design, texture, and timeless quality.
