NORWALK, CT — Two people were displaced from their home, and two dogs were rescued during a three-alarm fire Christmas morning in Norwalk, according to officials.
Crews responded to Pine Hill Avenue around 9 a.m. Monday on the report of a structure fire. Initial reports said there was smoke in the basement of the home, according to Norwalk Deputy Fire Chief Adam Markowitz.
Arriving crews encountered smoke coming from the eaves and multiple windows, according to Markowitz. The occupants were outside and told firefighters that the building was evacuated, but there were still two dogs inside.
