Fatal Hit-And-Run Victim Identified: Norwalk PD

A pedestrian was killed in the crash.

NORWALK, CT — Police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that involved a pedestrian Friday night around 9:14 p.m.

The victim has been identified as Leonard Street, 65, of Norwalk.

Police responded to the intersection of Martin Luther King Drive and Lowe Street and found a male pedestrian with serious injuries, said Lt. Terrence Blake, police spokesman.

He was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Officers later located the suspect vehicle at an address on Ely Avenue.
