Fentanyl, Ecstasy Pills Seized During Search Of Norwalk Apartment: PD
Officers seized over 1,000 folds of fentanyl and other items during a search of an apartment in Norwalk, according to police.

NORWALK, CT — Officers seized over 1,000 folds of fentanyl, more than 700 ecstasy pills containing fentanyl and other items Tuesday during a search of an apartment in Norwalk, according to police.
In a news release, Police Lt. Tomasz Podgorski said officers executed search warrants at the apartment of Keith Johnson, 33, of Norwalk, after a lengthy investigation into alleged illegal narcotics trafficking.
As officers conducted surveillance outside Johnson's apartment at The Waypointe apartment complex on Merwin Street, they spotted Johnson walking in the area and arrested him, Podgorski said.

The following items were seized during a search of Johnson's apartment, according to Podgorski:
- 1,167 folds of fentanyl weighing 292 grams.
- Loose powdered fentanyl weighing 84 grams.
- Loose MDMA/ fentanyl powder weighing 7 grams.
- Loose crack-cocaine weighing 15 grams.
- 739 ecstasy pills containing fentanyl weighing 330 grams.
- Numerous items used to facilitate a drug factory including 4 scales, cutting agent, stamps and a blender.
- $1,103 in cash.
Johnson was charged with possession of a controlled substance (first offense), sale of 1 oz or more heroin/methadone, operation of a drug factory, use of drug paraphernalia and risk of injury to a child.

His bond was set at $350,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court next month, according to Podgorski.
