Fire Breaks Out In Garage With 2 Cars Inside: Norwalk FD

Fire officials said crews made a quick attack and kept the blaze from extending into the Norwalk home.

NORWALK, CT — Crews extinguished a fire late Thursday night that broke out in the garage of a Huckleberry Drive home with two cars burning inside, according to fire officials.

In a news release, Deputy Chief Steve Shay said crews responded to the home around 10 p.m. and were able to keep the fire from extending into the house. All residents were able to evacuate the building.

The fire was brought under control in approximately 30 minutes and the residents were allowed to stay in the home. No injuries were reported, Shay said.
