NORWALK, CT — Police are investigating eight recent drug overdoses, including five fatal ones that have occurred since Aug. 28.
"We want to remind the public of the dangers of opioid abuse," said Lt. Terrence Blake, police spokesman. "Opioid overdose is often characterized by a decrease in breathing rate which if not quickly addressed leads to death."
