Former Globe Theatre in Norwalk on Pace for Fall Opening

Located at 71 Wall St., the long-closed historic venue is now called the Wall Street Theater.

NORWALK, CT - Interior renovations are about to begin on the former Globe Theatre at 71 Wall St. in Norwalk, which could place the opening of the long-closed historic theater for this fall. An exact opening date has not yet been released.

Now called the Wall Street Theater, the renovation is expected to cost about $9 million, reports The Hour.

Developer Frank Farricker is overseeing the project, which has received various levels of assistance from several entities, including Patriot Bank, Connecticut Light & Power, the city and the state.
