Former Norwalk Man Sentenced After Fatal Overdose
He had supplied heroin that contributed to a woman's death, according to the U.S. Attorney's office.

NORWALK, CT — A former city resident was sentenced to 18 months of prison for distributing heroin that was involved in the overdose death of a Bridgeport woman last year.
Richard Piske, 34, of Manchester was originally arrested in September 2016 and pleaded guilty to one count of distribution of heroin in 2017.
Police investigated an overdose in Bridgeport June 29, 2016. A 25-year-old woman was found dead on the floor of a bedroom. The victim's boyfriend had purchased heroin from Piske who was residing in Norwalk at the time, according to the U.S. Attorney District of Connecticut office.

Piske was ordered to report to prison on Jan. 3, 2018.
