Future Uncertain For White Barn Theatre On Norwalk / Westport Border: Report

NORWALK, CT — The future of the White Barn Theatre on the Norwalk-Westport border remains uncertain, following its inability to come up with a $100,000 down payment to buy the property, reports The Hour.

The foundation that runs the theater at 78 Cranbury Road in Norwalk missed last week's deadline to come up with the deposit, though owners of the property say they are still working with the foundation about a resolution.

Owners of the 15-acre property plan to build a residential housing complex at the site. They are willing to sell the property to the foundation for $5.2 million.
