NORWALK, CT — City officials announced Tuesday garbage and recycling collection has stopped for the remainder of the day due to inclement weather.
According to a news release provided by the city, garbage and recycling collection is scheduled to resume Wednesday.
The city asks any residents who were scheduled to have their garbage or recycling picked up Tuesday leave it curbside for collection Wednesday.

Garbage and recycling collection will continue on a regular schedule for the rest of the week, city officials said.
The city's Yard Waste Site and Transfer Station will also be closed for the rest of the day Tuesday due to inclement weather and will reopen Wednesday, according to city officials.
