Gloria Nancy Rizzi Mallozzi, age 81, of Norwalk, passed away peacefully at home on August 20, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Teodosio Mallozzi and was a daughter to the late Andrew and Eva (Renzulli) Rizzi. Gloria was born in Norwalk on October 30, 1937.
In addition to her loving husband Ted, of 62 years, Gloria is survived by her two beloved sons, Dino Mallozzi of North Bergen, NJ and Daniel Mallozzi (Ashley) of Norwalk, five grandchildren; Daniel, Sophia, Olivia, Jillian and Joslyn Mallozzi, a brother, Richard Rizzi of Roxbury, CT and nieces; Andrea C. Rizzi, of Jacksonville, FL , Michelle D. Rizzi, of Norwalk, CT, and Anissa M. Rizzi, of Fairfield, CT.
Gloria enjoyed a long, successful career as a hair stylist and salon owner in Darien, CT. She took great pride in her work and enjoyed many hobbies which included arts & crafts, cooking, gardening, antiquing and decorating. She had a passion for music and played the accordion. Gloria cherished her family and many dear friends and will be missed by all who knew her.

Friends are invited to greet the family on Friday, August 23, 2019 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at the Hoyt-Cognetta/Raymond Funeral Home, 5 East Wall Street, In Historic Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew’s R.C. Church, Norwalk. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Norwalk.
