GoFundMe Page Created For Second 19-Year-Old Killed In I-95 Crash
Chase Henry Townsend-Ortiz was a passenger in the car that crashed early Sunday in Darien.

NORWALK, CT — A GoFundMe page has been established in honor of Chase Henry Townsend-Ortiz, the second 19-year-old Norwalk resident who died from injuries suffered in a one-car crash on Sunday on I-95.
Ortiz was a passenger in the car, which crashed northbound at about 6:30 a.m. between exits 9 and 10. Also killed in the crash was Victor Emanuel Deleon, of Norwalk, and a GoFundMe page also has been established in his honor.
"On Tuesday October 1st my 19 year old baby brother, Chase Henry Townsend-Ortiz gained his angel wings," wrote Kaire Ortiz, who is organizing the GoFundMe page. "He was a passenger in a devastating car accident on September 29th.

"On behalf of Mom and family we would like to set up a fundraiser to help my family cover funeral expenses. Chase was such a light in this world and touched so many. Any amount will help and is appreciated. Long Live Chase."
As of Wednesday afternoon, the page had raised more than $5,500 toward a goal of $15,000. More than 130 people have given donations.

Three other Norwalk residents suffered serious injuries in the crash, 19-year-old Indira S. Rivera, the driver; Julius C. Beau, 20; and Jordan A. Palmer, 20.
The crash remains under investigation by Connecticut State Police.
