GoFundMe Page Established to Help Norwalk Youth Football Team Get to Nationals

NORWALK, CT — The Norwalk Packers U13 football team is hoping to raise enough money to offset the costs of traveling to Orlando for the national championship, and a GoFundMe page has been set up to help.

As of Dec. 2, the page created by Jackie Valentine had generated $5,150 toward a goal of $30,000.

"The Norwalk 13u Packers are a team of 21 boys who have been playing together since 3rd grade and are trying to make their way to the National Championship in Orlando Florida," wrore Valentine on GoFundMe. "We are 2-time State Champs and 4-time league Champs. We are trying to raise funds to help offset the cost of our travel, food and hotel. Please support this dynamic, hardworking, outgoing, dedicated group of boys on a once in a lifetime experience."
