Goldfish Swim School To Open In Norwalk

NORWALK, CT – Goldfish Swim School, a state-of-the-art aquatic facility dedicated entirely to year-round indoor swim classes and programs for children four months to 12-years-old, is coming to 112 Main Street in Norwalk (former Continental Manor Catering Hall) this year.
The new Norwalk-area swim school will open its doors in June 2018 and will offer swim lessons to children of all ages and varying stages from introductory parent-tot programs to beginning swimmer lessons and advanced pro-level lessons, according to a release.

Brightly colored walls, tiki cabanas and surfboard benches surround Goldfish’s island-style hair drying station and border their pool. The school is abuzz with the sounds of kids kicking and hands-on swimming instruction.

Heated indoor pool: On the pool deck, kids dive into an always-tropical 90-degree pool. Air temperature is kept at 92 degrees, providing swimmers with a shiver-free swim lesson experience.
Small class sizes: In a class size of no more than 4 children to 1 swim instructor, children receive the personalized attention they need to master skills to be safe and confident in the water.
Classes for all swimming levels: Beginning as early as 4 months, children progress through a series of perpetual swimming lessons, graduating to higher levels of difficulty as swimming skills are mastered. Goldfish also offers a recreational swim team for those swimmers who want to prepare for the next stages of competitive swimming.
State-of-the-art pool: Goldfish’s new pool features an advanced water purification system, guaranteeing a clean, safe environment for learning swimmers, and fun décor /teaching techniques to get children excited about swim lessons.

Goldfish Swim School – Norwalk will also include a viewing gallery for parents to watch lessons. In addition to swim lessons, the program will offer accelerated Jump Start clinics during school and summer vacation weeks, open swim times for families, weekend birthday parties, a snack shack and a treasure island retail shop.
