Grand Memories Day - FREE Admission for Grandparents!

Saturday, September 26, 2015, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Stepping Stones Museum for Children invites all grandparents and great-grandparents to visit the museum for a distinctive day designed to create long lasting memories with your grandchildren.

Enjoy the GRAND opening of our newest, traveling exhibit, Broken? Fix It!, currently on loan from the Long Island Children’s Museum. Teach our younger generation the fun of fixing things in a hands-on experience designed to encourage problem solving and critical thinking skills. Engage your grandchild in making simple repairs on everyday objects including flat bicycle tires, broken dishes and dolls in need of patches. Don’t miss this special exhibit which promotes cross-generational learning and conversation with props.

Take a walk down memory lane with your little ones and see how technology has evolved over time in the Past and Present display. View the transformation of a variety of familiar objects such as the typewriter to the iPad, the telephone to the iPhone!
