NORWALK, CT — Haven Hot Chicken, a quick-service restaurant chain specializing in Nashville hot chicken, announced Wednesday plans to open a new location in Norwalk this winter.
Haven Hot Chicken opened in New Haven in 2020 and expanded into Orange last month. The new location at 596 Westport Avenue will mark the chain's third location overall.
According to a news release, the chain is noteworthy in that it is one of the first fully dedicated Nashville hot chicken concepts in New England.

Co-Founder Rob LaTronica said the time has come for the chain to expand outside of New Haven County into Fairfield County.
"While we have met many members of our new community who have made the trip to Orange or New Haven to enjoy our award-winning chicken or 'not chicken,'" LaTronica said in a news release, "we are excited to put down roots in this new area with a convenient quick-stop location offering ample parking and a large delivery area for residential addresses, hotels and office buildings."

The 2,500-square foot space will serve the brand's signature menu of crispy and spicy chicken, as well as vegetarian options ranging from "Country," or not spicy, to "Haven," or extremely spicy. Fries, sides and seasonal limited-time offerings will also be on the menu.
In addition to offering curbside takeout and delivery, the Norwalk location will differ from the first two by offering over 25 seats for in-house dining, the company said.
