Heavy Traffic Expected During, After Fireworks In Norwalk: Police

The city's annual fireworks are scheduled for Monday at Calf Pasture Beach; heavy traffic is expected before, during and after the event.

NORWALK, CT — The city's annual fireworks display is scheduled for Monday night at Calf Pasture Beach, and heavy traffic is expected before, during and after the event, according to police.

In a news release, Police Lt. Joe Dinho said spectators will gather at the beach Monday night for the fireworks.

Heavy traffic congestion is expected on Calf Pasture Beach Road, Gregory Boulevard and all area roads before, during and especially after the display has ended, according to Dinho.

Dinho encouraged residents to drive in the area with extra caution, to plan ahead and to allow for extra travel time.
