On November 4th, ICRF (Israel Cancer Research Fund) will hold the 3rd Annual Heroes for Hope event honoring three outstanding oncologists: Dr. Beverly Drucker (affiliated with Greenwich Hospital), Dr. Paul Weinstein (Bennett Cancer Center/Stamford Health) and Dr. Richard Zelkowitz (Norwalk Hospital). Heroes for Hope raises funds and awareness for cancer research, and features a cocktail hour, raffle items, and dinner.. Heroes for Hope will take place at Temple Beth El, Stamford, CT on Sunday, November 4th at 6 pm. Last year, the event hosted over 150 guests and raised over $150,000 for cancer research.

This year’s keynote speaker is Andrew Faas; a Leukemia Survivor, TEDx speaker, Author, Management Advisor and Yale Public Voices Fellow. Mr. Faas is alive today due to a drug developed by an ICRF grant recipient. An introduction and comments will be given by Dr. Mark Israel, International Executive Director of ICRF and Distinguished Chair in Medicine, Dartmouth Medical School Emeritus.
