Heroin Laced With Fentanyl Seized In Norwalk Drug Arrest: PD
Two suspects were arrested in connection with the seizure.
NORWALK, CT — Two suspects were arrested, and 250 bags of heroin laced with fentanyl was seized, by Norwalk police Wednesday during a drug raid at a Kossuth Street address, according to authorities.
The raid of the home shared by Larry Adams and Gerral Young came after a four-month-long narcotics investigation.
"As a result of the investigation utilizing many different investigative techniques, a search warrant was issued and executed, leading to the seizure of 250 bags of Heroin laced with Fentanyl, powder cocaine, and US currency," Norwalk police said. The amount of cash seized in the raid was not disclosed.

Adams, 62, known by his street name, "Black," has a lengthy criminal history dating back to 1995, which includes 10 criminal convictions, according to police.

- Possession of a controlled substance (2 counts)
- Conspiracy to possess controlled substance (2 counts)
- Possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school (2 counts),
- Sale/Possession with intent to sell greater than 1 oz of heroin (2 countts),
- Conspiracy/Sale greater than 1 oz of heroin (2 counts)
- Sale/Possession with intent to sell controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a school (2 counts),
- Possession of drug paraphernalia (2 counts)
Young, 56, was charged with the same offenses. She was held in lieu of bail of $250,000.
Adams also was held in lieu of bail of $250,000; both suspects are scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 2.
