House Fire Extinguished In Norwalk: FD
Fire officials said flames could be seen on the house's back deck and siding when firefighters arrived.
NORWALK, CT — Crews quickly extinguished a house fire that broke out late Friday afternoon at a home in Norwalk, according to fire officials.
In a news release, Deputy Chief Michael McCallum said crews were called to a home on Morehouse Lane around 4:45 p.m.
Flames could be seen on the house's back deck and siding while smoke was pushing from the eves of the nearly three-story wood frame home when firefighters arrived, McCallum said.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze in less than 30 minutes as Norwalk police assisted with traffic and crowd control, McCallum said.
Fire inspector David Burrows is investigating the cause of the fire.
