Hundreds Pack Town Hall Meeting In Norwalk Held By Rep. Jim Himes
Dozens raised concerns to the four-term congressman who represents lower Fairfield County. Watch some of the video.

NORWALK, CT — More than 1,100 people packed Norwalk City Hall Tuesday night during a pointed "town hall meeting" held by United States Rep. Jim Himes (D-4th), urging the four-term Democrat to protect health care and stand up to President Donald Trump, reports the Hartford Courant.
The standing-room-only crowd, occasionally anxious and restless, was largely cordial, a far cry from the raucous audiences that have greeted some Republican members of Congress in other states.
He vowed to continue his criticisms of Trump when the situation warranted it, but he also made clear that he will listen for areas here he and fellow Democrats might be able to work with the administration, namely on infrastructure projects.

Though anticipating a large turnout, dozens were still turned away from the venue due to overcrowding, which prompted Himes to issue an apology to voters in a Facebook post:
Himes will hold additional town hall meetings in Bridgeport tonight, Feb. 22, at 6:30 p.m. in Bridgeport City Hall; and in Stamford on March 4 at 2:30 p.m. in the GenRe Auditorium at UConn Stamford.
