Improving survival from pancreatic cancer, a first-of-its-kind study from Nuvance Health

Researchers at Nuvance Health, now part of Northwell Health, have been studying the link between new-onset or worsening diabetes in people aged 50 and older.

In a major step toward improving survival from pancreatic cancer, the team published original, first-of-its-kind study results showing people with certain types of diabetes may benefit from pancreatic cancer screenings.
