NORWALK, CT — Four people were recently arrested in connection to a police investigation into the sale of narcotics in Norwalk, according to police.

In a news release, Police Lt. Tomasz Podgorski said the department's Special Services Division began investigating narcotics being sold in the area of Day Street this summer after receiving anonymous complaints from citizens.

The investigation resulted in the arrests of four people accused of dealing narcotics, Podgorski said.

During their investigation, officers obtained a search and seizure warrant for Robert Dennison, 34, of Bridgeport, and arrested him in Ryan Park. Officers also seized crack cocaine, Podgorski said.

Additionally, three arrest warrants were granted for Calvin Moultrie, 35, of Norwalk, two arrest warrants were granted for Alice Rivera, 56, of Norwalk, and one was granted for Tasean Brown, 34, of Stamford, according to Podgorski.

"We wish to thank the members of the community who provided information and tips about the criminal activity occurring in this area," Police Chief James Walsh said in a news release. "When our community members collaborate with our police officers, it enhances the overall safety and quality of life in our neighborhoods."

Dennison was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell. His bond was set at $75,000, according to Podgorski.

Moultrie was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of conspiracy to commit sale of narcotics and sale of narcotics. His bond was set at $450,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court in October, according to Podgorski.

Rivera was charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit sale of narcotics and possession of a controlled substance. Her bond was set at $30,000 and she is scheduled to appear in court this week, according to Podgorski.

Brown was charged with possession of a controlled substance and conspiracy to commit sale of narcotics. His bond was set at $50,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court next month, according to Podgorski.
