ITEXPO Heats up Miami and Business Technology Industry

Norwalk, Conn – February 6, 2014 – TMC today announced that ITEXPO Miami has concluded an exciting four days of programming that explored the latest and greatest in business communication technology, from cloud computing and Machine-to-Machine (M2M) to small cells and Web-based Real-Time Communications (WebRTC). The event, held January 28-31, 2014, at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami, Florida, included unique educational sessions presented by industry-leading companies and experts, a full expo hall of 7,300+ Attendees and 190+ Exhibitors, key announcements from ITEXPO participants and much more.

Companies with new products and solutions showed off their innovative ideas during collocated events, including M2M Evolution Conference & Expo’s Battle of the Platforms, and several companies even walked away with top honors as part of ITEXPO’s Best in Show awards, given out to innovative and creative products and solutions displayed on the expo floor. Additionally, many companies made significant announcements at ITEXPO to reveal new products, customers and more. These announcements include:

 

·         ADTRAN revealed the expansion of its ActivReach Ethernet Switch Portfolio, with the addition of its NetVanta 1235P solution that is purpose-built to speed VoIP deployments over legacy voice-grade wiring.

·         BlueOSS launched its fourth-generation Cloud Innovation Suite (CIS) to enable service providers to capture new revenue opportunities and further improve customer service.

·         Cbeyond announced it placed as a finalist in three 2013-2014 Cloud Awards Program categories for its TotalCloud Phone System and TotalCloud Data Center.

·         Cotap announced it received $10 Million in its second round of funding. The enterprise mobile messaging service will use the additional financing to rapidly scale its engineering, sales and marketing teams to drive growth and innovation, as well as expand Cotap to new mobile platforms.

·         PubNub introduced its Connected Car Solution Kit, providing the key building blocks for developers to deliver scalable, real-time transportation management and dispatch applications, including taxi, fleet management and delivery service.

·         snom announced the snom 715, a new addition to its 7xx series family of phones. The snom 715 is a state-of-the-art, full-featured SIP phone with a dual port Gigabit Ethernet switch.
