Josephine Domalewski, 96, Of Norwalk: Former Perkin Elmer Employee

The following obituary of Norwalk resident Josephine Domalewski, 96, is from the Magner Funeral Home:

Josephine Domalewski, age 96, of Norwalk, wife of the late William Domalewski, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, March 21. She was born in South Norwalk on January 22, 1921, the daughter of the late John J. and Frances (Amato) Manzi. She was also predeceased by her son William J. Domalewski and her brothers and sisters Mildred Zullo, Dominick, Michael, Rose, Jean, James and Dorothy Manzi.

Josephine is survived by her son Ronald, daughter Joan, son-in-law Thomas Nistico, Sr., grandsons Thomas Nistico, Jr., Daryl Nistico, sister Marie Luczkowski along with many special nieces and nephews, all of whom brought great joy to her later years. After retiring from Perkin Elmer Josephine enjoyed many years travelling with her husband. She enjoyed watching golf and westerns in her spare time. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and will forever remain in our hearts.

Calling hours will be on Friday, March 24 from 5-8 PM at Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, March 25, 10 AM at St. Philip Church, 1 F. Conlon Pl., Norwalk with burial to follow at S. John Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 14 Byington Pl., Norwalk, 06850.
