Kendall Court Emergency in Norwalk Appears to be a Hoax
Law enforcement agents are working to find the person who called in the false emergency.

Emergency personnel arrived at a Kendall Court home around 4 a.m. Thursday morning, after a 911 call led them to believe a suicidal resident was upset and had a gun, according to News 12.
But the cry for help now seems to have been a hoax. When officers of the Norwalk Emergency Services Unit and others arrived at the home, its residents were sleeping and unaware of any emergency, NBC Connecticut reported. They didn’t call 911.
People who falsely call on emergency services are sometimes called “swatters,” and the practice ties up police, Special Weapons And Tactics teams and others, who can’t address real emergencies while they’re distracted with illegitimate calls.
Detectives are working to find the caller in Thursday’s false alarm, NBC Connecticut reported.
