Ellie Kousidis, Republican candidate for the 25th State Senatorial District, is honored to receive an endorsement by the Connecticut State Fraternal Order of Police. News of the endorsement was delivered directly by Sgt. John Krupinsky, President of the CT FOP.

“First I want to thank the Connecticut State Fraternal Order of Police for their endorsement. This is an honor, and I am humbled to know that the men and women of law enforcement across this state are willing to support my candidacy.

“Throughout my campaign, I have repeated that I stand with our police departments, that I would never vote to hinder their ability to do their jobs and put them and the citizens they serve in harm’s way.

“We've experienced nearly two decades of bad decisions made by my opponent, and now he's led the way into making our entire state less safe for everyone by authoring an anti-police bill. To add further insult, he made factually inconsistent statements against the Norwalk Police Department in a sad attempt to drive a further wedge between our officers and the community they serve. Our community supports their Police Officers and is grateful for the risks they take to keep us safe.

“As Senator for the 25th District, I vow that I will always stand with law enforcement, I will never support anti-police legislation and will be a constant advocate for our men and women serving behind the shield.”
