Last Day Of School Expected To Be Pushed Back In Norwalk: Report

NORWALK, CT — School officials said the last day of school is expected to be pushed back in Norwalk due to the number of weather-related cancellations that have happened so far this year, the Norwalk Hour reported. The anticipated last day of school was previously June 11.

According to the Hour, officials said Monday the last day would very likely need to be pushed back to at least June 18 to make up for five previous cancellations. Tuesday's weather-related cancellation will now factor into this decision as well.

Changes to the current calendar will not be finalized until the first Board of Education meeting in April, the Hour reported.
