Last Day Of School, Graduation Dates Announced For Norwalk Public Schools

NORWALK, CT — Norwalk Public Schools announced Tuesday a number of high school graduation and middle school promotion dates, as well as the last day of school for all NPS students.

According to the district, the last day of school for Norwalk Public Schools remains Friday, June 14, despite snow days and other school cancelations this past academic year, "thanks to the efforts of Superintendent [Alexandra] Estrella."

Students will also have a two-hour early dismissal on the last day of school, district officials noted.

Additionally, the district released the following dates for 2024 graduations and promotions in Norwalk:

High Schools

• CT State Community College Norwalk (P-TECH) - Thursday, May 16 at 11 a.m. at the Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater.
  • Featuring P-TECH student speaker Aaron Charles
• Center for Global Studies - Friday, June 7 at 6 p.m. at Brien McMahon High School (auditorium)
• Norwalk High School/P-TECH Norwalk - Wednesday, June 12 at 2 p.m. at Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport, CT
• Brien McMahon High School - Thursday, June 13 at 6 p.m. at Jack Casagrande Field

8th Grade Promotions

All 8th grade promotions will be held on Tuesday, June 11. Times and locations will be announced soon.

• Roton Middle School - 5 p.m. at Brien McMahon High School
• Nathan Hale Middle School - 5:30 p.m. at Norwalk High School
• Concord Magnet School - 6 p.m. at Concord Magnet School
• Ponus Ridge STEAM Academy - 7:30 p.m. at Brien McMahon High School
• West Rocks Middle School - 7:30 p.m. at Norwalk City Hall
