Local Online Sale Goes Bad In Norwalk: PD

NORWALK, CT — A person was assaulted and robbed of a watch that he was trying to sell locally through social media, according to police.

The man made a dead on social media to sell a watch and agreed to meet the fake buyer in the area of Bouton Street, according to the Hour. The seller then wanted to meet at a restaurant.

The victim was approached by a man in the car and the watch was snatched after a brief conversation, police said. The victim was pushed back into the car and injured.
