The Museum’s new holiday exhibition, Christmas Playtime at the Mansion, explores cherished traditions and playful times of the holiday season during the mid 19th and early 20th centuries, and also features magnificent contemporary displays and trees decorated by renowned interior designer Victoria Vandamm of Vandamm Interiors and Danna DiElsi, owner of The Silk Touch in Norwalk, CT. Several playful dolls and toy vignettes, and sumptuous Victorian gowns were curated by Stacey Danielson, with generous loans from the Wilton Historical Society. The exhibition is made possible with the assistance of the Curatorial Committee co-chaired by Trustees Mimi Findlay and Paul Veeder.
