Long Prison Sentence For Norwalk Man In Friend's Killing: Report
Lawane Toles was shot and killed in Bridgeport in 2017. His friend, Norwalk resident Deondre Bowden, was convicted of the crime.
NORWALK, CT — Deondre Bowden, a 26-year-old Norwalk resident, was sentenced to 55 years in prison on Friday in connection with the 2017 killing of his friend, 43-year-old New Haven resident Lawane Toles, in Bridgeport, writes the Connecticut Post.
Bowden shot and killed Toles in May 2017, and later was found driving the victim's car and carrying two of his credit cards.
